some of my favourite reads at the moment are a bit like popcorn - they give you that little salty hit and then they are forgotten. But I say that is not all a bad thing.

I didn't get as much time as I wanted to do silk painting on the weekend (the drying time between layers really cramps my style!), but I am working with a great colour palette.

So, as I alluded to in my last post, the world of textiles is really very cool. And very inspiring for me.

The lovely Lisa (my boy's sister) was married last weekend and it was just beautiful! I do love weddings, and this was fabulous!

As I mentioned in a previous blog I am sewing a dress to wear to the lovely Lisa's wedding. I am in love with it! It has inspired me to work more with textiles.
